The State of Kentucky has been doing, by most accounts, an admirable job with both progress and transparency of COVID-19 related metrics and actions. As the vaccines hit commercial deployment in late 2020 and began being delivered and administered across the Commonwealth, the Cabinet for Health and Family Services began reporting stats on total doses received and administered. Unfortunately, these updates (quasi-daily) were rolled out as text updates in a static, non-database driven HTML page. Further, no listing of these metrics over time – either day-by-day or week-on-week could be found. So I put together an auto-updating Google sheet and some basic graphics that do just that. I’m eager to hear if any other folks out there have tackled similar, and might have better access to history or more granular detail by region, metropolitan area, or county.
